Condition B+ / B: repaired tears, creases and abrasions in margins and image; bottom margin is slighty trimmed; vertical and horizontal folds. Japan. This typographic broadside advertises the opening of a new theatre in Piatigorsk (a city around Stavropol, in the Caucasus). It is interesting to note that the theatre was such an integral part of Soviet culture that even in small cities, the posters promoting shows were executed by capable artists and typographers.
